Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musically inclined family on August 9th, 1963 in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. As a young girl, Houston started singing professionally in the church choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosns 1978 single Im Every Woman with her mother. She continued to offer back vocals to Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her own mother and did a brief stint as models on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. The quality of her work as the vocalist featured in New York funk group Material caught the eye of major record labels, including Arista and Arista, which she was signed in 1982, and stayed the rest of her career. The year 1985 saw the debut of Whitney Houston was the top-selling debut album of all time. The album All My Love was released in 1985 and was a top one smash. The album came out in 1987 and sold 25 million copies around the world. Its Whitney 1987 record, which included Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as hits, helped build upon the success she had achieved. The 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers ever. Although her performance in the film as well as its soundtrack weren't appreciated, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as the album accompanying it were top of the charts across the world for months. Also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist with whom she bore her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time when her well-documented usage of drugs began. By 1996, she was a regular addict.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as an anchorwoman, reporter, and political correspondent. The shows she hosts on weekends comprise Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List honor from Elle magazine. She is highly respected by her remarkable abilities as a reporter/an anchor. In her personal life the graduate of George Washington University is a caring mother for her single son.
