Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot to stardom in 1994 with the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing But an Numer. At the age of 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. This collaboration, heavily influential to R. Kelly's music and put her in the limelight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland collaborated to produce her sophomore album One In A Million. It featured the track the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah was recognized internationally as an R&B artist with the release of her sophomore album, One In A Million. Aaliyah was a part of the legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romantic film. Joel Silver spotted her in the awards ceremony. Queen of the Damned was her debut role in 2002. The story is based on the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee following her appearance as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions that same year. She was nominated four times at the Grammy Awards in 2001, 1999 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is the first generation Indian-American to be from Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her married first name Mankad. She uses Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar as her stage name. Although she began with small TV and movie parts, her acting career began growing in popularity around the turn of the century. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She also appeared in several commercials that included Volvo as well as other major auto brand names. She is currently working on her acting career in Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
